Welcome to Anne Lommel's world!
Hello there, I'm Anne! Probably you know that, since you are scrolling through my website. I'm a photographer, based in Luxembourg (the green heart of Europe). While keeping photography as a hobby during my period of a travel guide (I worked in Turkey and Greece), photography became my full-time job for the last 5 years. I'm fascinated by architecture and design as well as the beauty of mother nature. And lately also the art of food photography.
So here I share with you stories more in detail, such as a travel, a recipe, or a love story. And I love to capture emotions.

A bit more to my story
About 10 years ago, I started my journey at Miami Ad School in Hamburg. Little did I know what kind of experience that school would teach me.
Main message I got: Learning by doing.
First Hamburg, then 3 internships around the world which sounds fancy right? (little secret: that's what got me hooked in the first place) The internships taught me another thing: Figure it out yourself! Which I did. I did internships in Ogilvy & Mather Paris & London, as well as at Digitas San Francisco.

After getting the degree as an "Art Director" in Miami Ad School, I was a bit lost and did not know what to do. I just knew the advertising world was not so much for me. (great right, after spending all that money). But I'm a believer in "everything happens for a reason" and have faith in my path.

By chance, I came across an ad for being a "travel guide". Again I did not really know what I was getting in to, but as so often I think "WHY NOT". So I jumped at the opportunity and worked 2 and a half years as a travel guide in Antalya (Turkey) and Kos (Greece).
Main message I got from that experience: same as before, you better figure it out yourself how to do the job and be good at it.
5 years ago, after I was fed up with helping tourists how to find their planes, I decided to take my courage and started being my own boss. Easier thought and said than done. Here I am, I survived till now and I love what I'm doing.
The world belongs to the brave!
